Itineraries

DAY 01:

BUENOS AIRES

Contact with our bilingual speaking guide at the Ezeiza airport and transfer to hotel. Accommodation in Buenos Aires. Overnight in Buenos Aires.

DAY 02:

BUENOS AIRES / Walking city tour

Breakfast and we will begin our walking tour of the city, visiting the traditional Plaza de Mayo with the Casa Rosada, the Cabildo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Then we will walk through the streets of pavers of San Telmo, where we will relive the colonial past of the city. We will visit La Boca district and their mythical Caminito Street, symbol of football, tango and art. The tour will continue in the trendy Puerto Madero, Recoleta and Retiro, visit the Plaza San Martín, the elegant Avenida Alvear, the Basìlica Nuestra Señora del Pilar and Recoleta Cemetery, where lies - among others-the famous Eva Peròn and where our tour ends. Return to hotel. In the evening, we will go to enjoy a Dinner with a famous Tango show. Overnight in Buenos Aires.

DAY 03:

BUENOS AIRES/ EL CALAFATE

Breakfast and departure to take your flight to El Calafate, arrival and you will be transfer to hotel. Free time to know the town. Overnight in El Calafate.

DAY 04:

EL CALAFATE / THE GLACIERS NATIONAL PARK - Minitrekking

After breakfast, we are going to The Glaciers National Park. We will begin in the embarking pier located in “Bajo de las Sombras” port, about 6 km before the glacier Balconies - where we will embark for a 20 minutes navigation across "Brazo Rico", enjoying breathtaking views of the Perito Moreno glacier’s front wall. We will disembark on the opposite shore, where specialized bilingual mountain guides welcome us and lead us to a small shelter. After checking the last details, the groups will follow their guides along the lake’s shore towards the edge of the glacier. Once on the ice, the guides will put each participant a pair of crampons on, and explain how to use them. After the walk, a stroll through the forest brings us back to the shelter. Then we will have a short time to go to catwalks and enjoy the magnificent view of Perito Moreno glacier. In the afternoon, we will return to El Calafate town. Overnight in El Calafate

DAY 05:

EL CALAFATE / DISCOVERY ESTANCIA CRISTINA

Breakfast and departure to Banderas Port, where we will begin the excursion “Estancia Cristina Discovery tour”, located on the northwest coast of Lago Argentino, in the end of the Cristina Arm, Estancia Cristina keeps a unique place in The Glaciers National Park. The Upsala glacier located a few kilometers from the ranch; it is one of the largest in the park. We will navigate the Lago Argentino among icebergs and mountains and then we will visit Estancia Cristina; it is a perfect combination of nature, adventure, history and pleasure. We will sail the North Arm and Upsala Channel (main front of Upsala Glacier), continue in 4x4 truck vehicle to the Mirador Upsala (round trip), we will make the historic visit and to the museum and we can also walk around the ranch. In the afternoon, we will embark to return to the city of El Calafate. Overnight in El Calafate.

DAY 06:

EL CALAFATE /USHUAIA

After breakfast, we will go to El Calafate airport to take a flight to Ushuaia. Free time, Overnight in Ushuaia.

DAY 07:

USHUAIA – Navigation to Beagle Channel and hiking with penguins

Breakfast and we will go to port and begin our navigation in the Beagle Channel. We will walk and will have the opportunity to discover one of the wildest and most beautiful places in Tierra del Fuego. We will depart from Ushuaia to the Estancia Harberton to visit the Acatushún Marine Mammals Museum, and the surroundings that was one of the first places occupied by Europeans upon their arrival at Tierra del Fuego. After the visit, we will embark and sail in the direction of the Martillo Island. During the navigation, we could spot the Penguins and other marine mammals. We will walk in the woods and along the seacoast of the island where we will be able to admire the dams built by the beavers. We will return to the beach to leave again for Puerto Harberton and then take a bus to the hotel in Ushuaia. Overnight in Ushuaia.

Day 08:

USHUAIA - Tierra del Fuego National Park with trekking and canoes

Breakfast and we will depart to Tierra del Fuego National Park. Once we are there, we will go by this place while exploring on foot, in touch with Nature. The almost 8 km of medium-difficulty hike, does not present a big challenge to passengers used to exercise regularly, and dress accordingly. The walk invites us to know, in detail and in a pleasant way, a paradise recovered where the mountains can be reach from the shore of the sea, and the fresh water of rivers and lakes coexists with the marine coast. Near Acigami Lake (former Roca Lake), we will have lunch in our comfortable structural tents to be protected from the weather. After a short break, and after fitting the rubber boots, over pants and lifejackets, we will paddle easily in an inflatable canoe (duckies´ type, very safe and stable) from Acigami Lake, down the very slowly flowing Lapataia and Ovando rivers. Our journey begins in fresh water until we reach the sea, in Lapataia Bay. For about an hour, we will see the flora and fauna of inaccessible places, approaching the point of view enjoyed by the Yámana several centuries ago. We will return just we arrived there: in the same buses, only that we are now full of fond memories and unforgettable experiences. Overnight in Ushuaia.

Day 09:

USHUAIA/BUENOS AIRES/IGUAZÚ

After breakfast, we will go to Ushuaia airport to take a flight to Iguazú with stop in Buenos Aires. Arrival, transfer and accommodation in our hotel, time for rest. Night in Iguazú

Day 10:

IGUAZU - Argentine Falls Iguazú

We will visit the Iguazù National Park (AR). It will take us all day to cross the top, bottom and the Devil's Throat circuits. We will recognize the different jumps and we will enjoy this wonderful argentine park. In the afternoon we will return to the hotel. Overnight in Iguazù.

Day 11:

IGUAZU - Brazilian Falls Iguassu + Return to BA

After breakfast, we will go to border with Brazil to access the Iguazú National Park (BR), where we will appreciate the best argentine and brazilian jumps. In the afternoon, transfer to Iguazú airport to take your flight back to Buenos Aires. Arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Buenos Aires.

DAY 13:

BUENOS AIRES

Breakfast and transfer to Ezeiza Airport to flight back to home.
