After the departure from the hotel the tour goes through a glacial valley surrounded by snowy peaks up to its first stop at the Garibaldi pass: the only road crossing the chain of the Fuegian Andes. From this lookout, high up the Andes Range, it is beautiful to see Lake Escondido, a small wonder at the bottom of the valley.
Near the north end of Lake Escondido, and after leaving the paved road behind, the a itinerary continues along a series of old paths that a sawmill opened in the forest, that soon become impassable for conventional vehicles the further they approach Lake Fagnano, the fifth largest in Argentina.
In the forest near the Fagnano coast there will be free time to walk and enjoy the place, while the guide prepares an abundant meal to be enjoyed comfortably in an exclusive refuge located in a natural environment, away from the noise of modern life.
